This blog is dedicated to my love of the color chartreuse, my first grade classroom and infusing my love of design. Follow along with the journey of teaching!
I am a first grade teacher in a small rural town in Colorado. I enjoy the outdoors and regularly hike, stand up paddle board, ski, raft and backpack. I also love making craft projects, including painting, scrapbooking and photography.
My undergraduate degree was in Architecture before I went back to school to become a teacher. I also have a Master's degree in Elementary Education. This means that I love to bring my architecture background into my classroom. I love teaching STEM!
I started this blog to share my journey with you. I've been teaching a couple of years, so I have a few tricks. But I also want to share the messy parts of the journey as well. I hope you enjoy reading about projects, lessons and tips and tricks!
